Intensive Moscow's Attacks Eliminate Power Throughout Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased attacks in the past few days

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have led to power cuts in extensive areas of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were hurt while local people in eastern districts were left without electricity and encountered disruption to water supplies, per reports from city officials.

Simultaneously, a minor was lost their life in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has increased assaults on power infrastructure over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "substantial measures" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not window dressing but strong steps - from the America, the EU and the Group of Seven - in supplying defensive weapons and applying penalties," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty rockets attacked energy facilities, characterizing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were working to fix the damage.

A series of attacks struck power facilities and residential structures in Kyiv.

Multiple people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been taken to hospital, according to local officials.

Regional authorities said the city experienced significant strikes throughout the evening. A minor died and multiple civilians were injured.

The strikes succeed nights of air raids in the area, sections of which are currently controlled by Moscow's military.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to spot.

Authorities told reporters that Moscow was purposely seeking to damage the country's energy grid, with attacks already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and officials were anticipating further attacks.
