Vehicles in Germany's City Found Marked with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Approximately 50 vehicles have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Automobiles, exterior walls and mailboxes were vandalized, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they announced in a statement.

Police state they were alerted during the night on Wednesday evening, when a man discovered that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish liquid.

The substance had been applied in the form of a banned symbol, they reported.

Law enforcement then discovered many other smeared vehicles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are banned in Germany under laws outlawing the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Law enforcement say early analysis suggest the fluid was probably blood from a person.

"At present there remains no lead as to where it came from; officials are presently not cognizant of any physical harm in association with the incident," they stated.

Municipal representatives stated they were working "to resolve the mystery" and have requested to the community for tips.

An important official said the attack rendered him speechless and needed to be resolved promptly.

"This incident hits the center of Hanau and revives the wounds of the right-wing violent incident five years ago," he posted on online, referring to the murder of nine victims by a assailant targeting individuals of immigrant origin in five years prior.
